Remember Stereoman, aka, Ekwe? That  guy who sang the hit song called Ekwe!

He was arrested for  the mother of Rukayat Idris, the mother of his daughter.

Few  Months Before Rukayat's death, Stereoman was said to have battered Rukayat which led to their separation.

Rukayat was found dead in her car under a bridge around Mile 2-Bdagry express way last month.
According to eye witnesses account, she was found dead with marks on her neck which suggested  she was strangled to death.

Pastor Karachi along with 2 others were arrested  by the Kogi state police command has arrested and paraded a pastor and two others in connection with the last month robbery of First Bank and Unity bank in Ankpa, Ankpa Local government of Kogi state.

Sources said Pastor karachi acts as their spiritual father and thus offers Spiritual prayers to them before they go out for any operation.

The names of the other two are:  Innocent Onyeonura and Joy Onyeonura(brothers).  
The Ankpa robbery took place on the 25th April, 2012 where the 2 brothers made away with millions and they paid Pastor Karachi N300,000 for his service.

60-Year Old Man Rapes 20-Year Old Boy

 Alhaji Olusegun Adesina,a 60-year old man,  was on Friday in Abeokuta arraigned before an Isabo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly raping a 20-year-old secondary school leaver (name removed)

News said  Alhaji Olusegun Adesina lured the boy into his private residence in Abeokuta and abuse the boy.

Adesina had sexual intercourse with boy through the anus.

Magistrate O.A. Ayobolu granted Adesina bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties.

Left to me they should in addition to above punishment, flogged the man well well.

The explosion was caused by a trailer driver who was carrying inflammable materials along Lekki-Epe Express way.

124,000 Persons Are Infected With AIDS In Ogun State

the alarming rate of HIV infection is becoming worrisome.
Recent studies shows that 3,780 persons were tested HIV positive in Abuja.

But Ogun state has 124,00 people infected.
This report was given by Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Mr Olaokun Soyinka.
Mr Olaokun also suggested means to reduce this rate like organising HIV prevention centres, sensitization, etc.
“We are in the final stages of the process of employing them. This is a major initiative that will greatly improve services in all the facilities under the Hospital Management Board. We have also purchased four additional ambulances to support the existing fleet.” He added.

Police Women No Longer Need Commissioner’s Permission To Marry – Court

Before now, for an unmarried police woman to marry, she had to seek the permission of her Commissioner.

This is confirmed under the Police Act (Cap P19 ) Laws of the Federation of Nigeria which states:

“A woman Police Officer who is desirous of marrying must first apply in writing to the Commissioner of Police for the State Command in which she is serving, requesting permission to marry and giving name, address and occupation of the person she intends to marry. Permission will be granted for the marriage if the intended husband is of good character and the woman police officer has served in the force for a period of not less than three years.”

But thanks to an NGO called "Women Empowerment and Legal Aid Initiative",(WELA), this rule no longer stands.

LG Staff Kidnapped After Church Service

Mrs. Anwuli Ossai who is a  female worker of Oshimili South Local Government in Delta State has been confirmed  kidnapped in Asaba on her way home from church service.

Mrs Anwuli Ossai was later found to be sister to Chairman of The Pioneer Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Mr Fidelis Egugbo.

According to some eye witnesses, Mrs ossai was abducted at about 7pm on Tuesday while she was about to enter her compound.

One Nigerian man, by name Bimbo Olumuyiwa (54 years old) immigrated illegally to UK. When he reached UK, he changed his name Jerry Thomas.

Mr Bimbo worked "Jerry" at Newark Liberty International Airport for 20 years in his position as a supervisor, where he oversaw 30 security officers.
His co-workers even knew him as Jerry Thomas.

It turns out the real Jerry Thomas was reportedly murdered in Queens, New York, in 1992.
 Mr "Jerry" was arrested on Monday (14th May, 2012) at his home in Elizabeth, UK.

Fashola Has Issued A Counter-Eviction Notice To Lagos Doctors

Few days after issuing an order of eviction notice to Lagos State doctors, Governor Fashola has issued a counter-eviction notice order to that effect.

This means that the affected doctors will not be force to evict their residents. They can only leave on their own  accord.

Few days ago, Governor Fashola sacks 788 striking doctors in Lagos State. Poor people in Lagos suffered lack of good proper medicare during these doctors' strike and also when they were sacked.

  But Ademola Fashola, the father of Governor Babatunde Fashola , has been flown to the United States for medical attention for an undisclosed sickness during the time of strike action embarked by the doctors.

But the state' Commissioner for Health, Jide Idris said Mr Ademola fashola was transferred abroad on referral from LASUTH(Lagos State University Teaching Hospital).

    Also, these two terrorist group are expected to have a long term partnership in which the unknown Algerian terrorist group will train new boko haram members in: hostage taking, weapon handling, kidnapping, attcking of expariates like Julius Berger and Dantata and Sawoe, etc

This report was  a product of a joint police and military investigations and raids, carried out in Kano and Sokoto in December 2011.

Dele Ige, Younger Brother To Bola Ige, is Dead!

Mr. Dele Ige  who is the younger brother to late Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige, has been confirmed dead.

Mr Dele Ige died during his nephew's 60th birth day in Ibadan. He slumped and died shortly before he deliver his speech. His nephew is Mr  Akin Ige.

Mr Dele Ige was born on the 6th September, 1930. He is age 82 years. He is the last born of the Ige's family.

May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
