Some people living in Iju Ishaga have expressed fears of the ghosts of the dead victims of the deadly Dana Plane Crash. They are afraid the ghosts of the dead will rise and trouble them.

Idayatu Ali, a 24-year-old unemployed school leaver, said she would not want the victims to be buried at the scene of the accident, “for fear of ghosts”.

According to her, human beings are no goats and when they die prematurely, especially, violently, their ghosts will haunt the scene for a while.

UNILAG Protest: Students Sue Jonathan To Court Over Name Change

Some students of former Unilag(now MAULAG-Moshood Abiola Unversity) have decided to take laws into their hands by sueing the President to Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
 The students argued that the power to change the name of their institution from UNILAG to MAULAG belongs to the National Legisture as provided under the University of Lagos Act 1967(as amended).

The students also asked the court to declare that the change of name as mentined by the President on May 29,is unconstitutional, ultra vires, null and void and of no effect whatsoever.

NSUKKA: Gunmen Kidnap A Doctor and Killed A Tailor

Some armed gunmen came to Nsukka town a kidnapped a medical doctor. The doctor was identified as one  Dr. M.A Sadiq, a staff of the University of Nigeria, UNN, Medical Centre. He  was kidnapped in front of his private hospital, Mount Arafat Hospital, 59 Aku Road Nsukka on Saturday. The doctor was given the beaten of his life.
  The security man to the doctor, Mr Sani , was also beaten black and blue while trying to save his master.

Also Department of Petroleum Resources annouinced the death of one its colleague, Assistant Directors/Zonal Operations Manager, Abuja, Mr. Anthony Nwokoagbara.

MURDER: A 60-year Old Woman Killed in Her House

One Mrs. Mary Agada ( 60-year-old widow), Umuezeala, Nzerem community in Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo State, was brutally murdered in her house.

But it took the community 2 days to discover that the woman was dead. Many are pointing accusing fingers at the Late Widow's 35-year old son.

BREAKING NEWS: Police fire Tear Gas at Emerging Crowd at Lagos Plane Crash Site

A crowd of about 2,000 people  were forcing their way to the crash site despite police blockage. This has made the police to start throwing rear gas at the crow.

The crowd then retreated but later returned, looking on from rooftops and other areas.
Rescue workers have so far pulled at least 62 bodies from the wreckage, an official said as searches pressed on at the site of the devastation.

One witness said: "We were lucky. We just finished our church service when this thing happened.”

President Declared A 3-Day National Mourning To Honour Victims of Plane Crash

President Jonathan has ordered a 3-day mourning be observed in honour of the souls of the deceased who died in Todays lagos bomb blast.

President Jonathan, who cancelled all his public engagements scheduled for tomorrow, also directed that the Nigerian flag be flown at half-mast for the three days of national mourning.

A McDonnell Douglas (MD-83) aircraft , coming from Abuja and  heading to  Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos , carrying about 150 passengers had crashed directly into a two-story building in Lagos  just 4 minutes to landing.

My Main Sources said the crash killed all the passengers on board(about 153 people).

But some other sources said the number of people killed is still unknown.
Oh my God! What a disaster. Pray for the families of the deceased.
