The founder of the Living Faith Church, a.k.a. Winners’ Chapel Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, is not leaving anything to chance in his defence against the N2 billion suit slammed on him for allegedly slapping a young female member of his congregation.

The highly respected man of God has secured the services of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mr. Dele Adesina to defend the matter which was filed by a Lagos-based lawyer, Robert Igbinedion, in April on behalf of the young lady.

According to reports, Hope Amadi borrowed Chioma’s cloth and refused to return it for many days. When Chioma asked for her cloth back on Tuesday June 5th, Hope allegedly became extremely aggressive and the two girls got into serious argument. Then a fight ensued. Witnesses say Hope Amadi picked up scissors from their room and stabbed Chioma seven times on the neck, arm and other places.

Former pilot for Miramar-based Spirit Airlines, Waxtan resumed work with Dana Air in March 2012, Oscar Wason, the airline’s director of operations said.|

Fear of Ghosts Grips Residents of Iju Ishaga After Dana Plane Crash

Some people living in Iju Ishaga have expressed fears of the ghosts of the dead victims of the deadly Dana Plane Crash. They are afraid the ghosts of the dead will rise and trouble them.

Idayatu Ali, a 24-year-old unemployed school leaver, said she would not want the victims to be buried at the scene of the accident, “for fear of ghosts”.
According to her, human beings are no goats and when they die prematurely, especially, violently, their ghosts will haunt the scene for a while.

FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Improves in Current Ranking

Following the 1-0 win over Namibia in World Cup Qualifiers Over the Weekend, Nigeria has moved up three places in the latest Fifa Rankings to 60th place in the world, and 11th on the continent.
The move is an improvement from last month, where the Super Eagles were dragged down by draws and a loss to Egypt.

Cote d’Ivoire dropped one place in the world rankings but held on to their place as Africa’s top team.
They are followed by Ghana, who dropped three places to 25 in the world.

Ice Prince and D'banj To Perform At BBC Hackney Weekend
