Police Arrest Man For Stealing Beer Worth N3 Million

On Friday, the police arraigned one Mr Halidu Shaibu, 23, at a Lagos Magistrate court for felony and stealing of 1, 044 cartons of can beer valued at N3 million. This means 2 counts of felony and stealing.  According to the police statement, the police claimed that Mr Shaibu and “others now at large” allegedly conspired to commit felony to Wit: stealing and thereby committing an offence punishable

TRAGEDY: Seven Newly Appointed Pastors Die in Car Accident

Seven newly ordained pastors of the Baptist Theological Seminary, Oyo town, Oyo State, have died in an accident in Ogbomoso, on Ogbomoso-Oyo road.

The driver of the bus conveying them, a retired primary school teacher and two children also died in the accident, which occurred last weekend.

The deceased were said to be travelling from Oyo town

Covenant University Expels Lesbian In Final Year

The University authorities of Covenant University, Canaanland Ota in Ogun state, has sacked a 22-year old final year student of the University on grounds of lesbianism.

Speaking with Hpe For Nigeria, an University Administration officer said that the student’s activities and unquenchable desire for other ladies was disturbing and embarrassing to the University.
 He regrets the decision but said that sexual orientation and exploits does not give a Faith based University like Covenant, a good name.

Dana Plane Crash: Co-pilot, Mr Amaechi Obodo, Survives

      His name was listed as one of the crew members of the ill-fated Dana Flight 9J-922. His face was published on the pages of the papers as a victim of the crash. But yesterday, Mr. Amaechi Obodo, a co-pilot at Dana Air declared that he was alive and well.
    Sources had reported a day after the crash that the pilot, co-pilot and flight engineer were all non-Nigerians. However some papers had erroneously included Mr Amaechi Obodo, indigene of Delta State, among the crew.

Tragedy: SUG Executive Murdered By Cultist In CRUTECH, Calabar

Yesterday, there was a great fear and commotion at the Cross River University of Technology(CRUTECH), Calabar, after one of the representatives of the students’ union was shot in the head by some cultists.
The killers rode on a motorcycle to the restaurant where the SUG executive was having launch. Upon alighting from their bike, they went straight into the building pumping several shots of bullets in the chest and face of their victim and  killing him on the spot.

Late Manolo Preciado (54-year-old) had just been appointed as Villarreal's new coach on Wednesday and was due to be officially presented by the club on Friday, but he suffered a fatal heart attack in his hotel room in Valencia and then died.
  Real Madrid Boss, Jose Mourinho, took some time and sends condolence message to the late Manolo as a way of paying tribute to him.
    Preciado ended Mourinho's nine-year unbeaten record at home in April 2011 with his Sporting Gijon team, and the Portuguese coach had only words of praise for his counterpart.

BREAKING NEWS: Bomb Blasts In Borno State

Reports reaching us from Borno State, Nothern Nigeria , indicates that a suicide bomber struck the police headquarters in Maiduguri around mid day today .  We gathered that a suicide bomber drove a car to the gate of the police command  of the Borno State on Damaturu road directly opposite Govt Secondary school in Maiduguri and detonated a bomb.

WICKED MOTHER: Mother Sells 3 of Her Kids At Mammy Market

One Mrs Ijeoma Okafor, a mother of five kids and living in Lagos State, has reportedly sold three out of her five kids.
Mrs Ijeoma is 39 years old. The police have been keeping watch on her after she sold two of her kids and was eventually arrested after she sold the third one.
Police sources at State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos said she confessed to selling two of her kids at the Mammy Market, Navy Town before the third one.
