Suspected assassins this  afternoon shot Mr. Steve Nwosu, Editor of Daily Sun newspaper.

A competent source close The Sun  disclosed that Mr. Nwosu was shot at Mazamaza as he made his way to The Sun’s Corporate Headquarters at Coscharis Street, Apapa. The scene described by the source is not too far away from the Sun office. 
“He had gone to the bank with his driver to withdraw some money,” said the source. He was shot on the head, and quickly rushed to the hospital where he is being treated.”

Psquare To Bury Late Mother On August 2.


Late Josephine Okoye, Mother of the Psquare twins , will be buried on the Thursday, August 2, 2012 in her huband's house at Ifite-Dunu, Akwa Village, Anambra State.

But before her burial, there willbe lying-in-state at her Umunachi, Umudioka Village, Anambra State and a church service at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.

The Family has officially disclosed that she died of Diabetes. So people should stop spreading false information about her illness.

Adamawa: Tribunal Dismisses ACN’s Petition, Nyako Wins Case

Current News from  Adamawa state says the Governorship Election Tribunal has dismissed the petition brought in by the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Markus Gundiri, challenging the election of governor Murtala Nyako due to insufficient evidence.

BREAKING NEWS: 2 Indians Killed in Maiduguri By Terrorist


Terrorists attacked the Gum Arabic Factory in Maiduguri, killed 2 Indians,  injured 1 Indian and made away with N90,000 at about 10 a.m. this morning.

This was confirmed by JTF.
The injured Indian who escaped is currently receiving treatment at the State Specialist Hospital. Tis incidence is still  under investigation.

Personally, Boko Haram is behind the attack.

Remember the Colonel Kayode Yusuf and Sergeant Aliu Adeomi who were arrested by Governor Fashola for driving on the BRT lane. 

Well yesterday, The Nigerian Army Has fined both Military men with the sum of N25,000 claiming that no one is above the law.

Good judgement, yes no one is above the law. But if I were Fashola, I would have forgiven the men since they have shown true repentance and even saluted him in the public.

What Da Hell: Unity Bank Retires 500 Workers

Unity Bank Plc Monday  said about 500 members of its staff will proceed on retirement, in line with a programme aimed at reinvigorating its workforce.
The bank also said that about 389 members of staff in various departments were promoted while salary increments by way of notches were also given to another 1,855.
A statement from the bank explained that the move was aimed at raising productivity and competitive position in the industry. “With the implementation of the programme, the bank has announced staff promotions, retirements and will embark on new recruitments to fill vacancies,” it said.
