Happy Birthday Sanusi Lamido


Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (born 31 July 1961) was appointed Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria on 3 June 2009. 
He is a career banker and ranking Fulani nobleman, and also serves as a respected Islamic scholar. 

The renowned global financial intelliegence magazine, The Banker, published by the Financial Times, has conferred on Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi two awards. 

He has been recognised with the global award for Central Bank Governor of the Year, as well as for Central Bank Governor of the Year for Africa. The TIME magazine also listed Sanusi in its TIME 100 list of most influential people of 2011.

Ini Edo Confirms 'She's Pregnant'


Ini Edo has confirmed that she is pregnant.

In a recent interview she had with E24-7 the actress finally confirms it, said, “Yes, I am pregnant. I have become a real woman.” Congrats to the newly expecting mum Ini.



BET might have slammed a ban on Rick Ross’ video a few days before it premiered but it’s beginning to gain massive buzz with an online premiere.

‘Hold me back’ landed on video sharing website YouTube on July 29, 2012 and has so far over 158,000 views with 2,357 likes and 328 dislikes.

Earlier reports said BET had watched the full clip and were ‘adamant on keeping the raw and intense footage’ of Ross’ latest visual production off their network.

Taye Taiwo joins Dynamo Kiev


Dynamo Kiev have announced the imminent signing of Milan full-back Taye Taiwo, subject to a medical to be held today.
Taye only joined the Rossoneri last summer, on a free transfer from Marseille, but struggled to settle at the club and was shipped out to Premier League side Queens Park Rangers in January.
Exact details of the agreement in place with Milan are not yet known, but it is understood that the Rossoneri will receive €500,000 for an initial 12-month loan of the player, with Dyname then having the option to purchase him for a further €2m.

BREAKING NEWS: One killed as Gunmen Attack Vice President’s house in Zaria


Gunmen on motorbikes attacked the country house of Vice President Namadi Sambo in Zaria in Kaduna state on Monday, but he was not in the building at the time, police said.

“The policemen on guard and the assailants were engaged in a gun battle around 11:30, however, a cobbler was hit by a stray bullet and died instantly,” police spokesman Balteh Abdulrazaq said.

BREAKING NEWS: Gunmen In Police Uniform Snatch Editor’s Car- PM News, Lagos


Armed robbers dressed in police uniform at about 10 p.m.on Sunday at gunpoint snatched a car from the Editor, Nigerian Compass newspaper, Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo.

The editor, who was in his Toyota Avensis car, 2008 model marked Ogun CP 11 AKM, was returning from his office on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when he ran into the road block mounted by the robbers in front of a new generation bank at Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
