The Kano State Police Command has arrested one Nura Hamza, who posed as a 700-year-old spirit, to allegedly dupe unsuspecting members of the public.

An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday dissolved an 18-year-old marriage between a Muslim cleric and his wife over irreconcilable differences.
The estranged husband, Lawal Temidire, 67, had on July 24 approached the court seeking the dissolution of the union over Risikat’s rejection of his sexual advances.
In his ruling, the President of the court, Mr T.A. Eko, said the marriage was dissolved since all efforts to reconcile the couple had failed.

A university student in Kenya who is HIV positive has decided to revenge for herself by sleeping with many men and infecting about 322 men(WTH!!)
Tongues are wagging in Nairobi, Kenya from a text message a lady student in the University of Nairobi forwarded to a colleague.
It read: “I am a student and I am HIV-positive. I swore I would spread the thing because I got infected during my first experience. I have slept with 322 guys in my campus and two outside. I wanted to infect 2,500 people but the guilt is now killing me.”

In a move aimed at salvaging the reform and privatisation programme of the power sector, President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday in Abuja accepted the resignation of one of the key members of his cabinet, Professor Bart Nnaji as Minister of Power, with immediate effect.
29-year-old Pastor Michael Oyewole and his accomplice, Matthew Akiode, 30, were paraded on Tuesday by the police in Ogun at the command’s headquarters Eleweran, for allegedly exhuming human skull in a grave at Sabo in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state.
Oyewole, who claimed to be a pastor at Ona-Ara mimo Cherubim and Sheraphim at Olomore few kilometres to the crime scene was accused of inducing Akiode of committing the crime.
Speaking to journalists, the state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, said: “I used to work on his (pastor) site but he said I will make more money if I can get him human skull, so I felt it was an easy way of making money that was why I did it.
“I am surprised his denying all of this when he was the actual person that thought me how to go about it, “he claimed.
