Though the second operation to remove the surgical cloth has now rendered Ernestina barren, the Attorney General Department is reportedly threatening her to back down on the GH¢150,000 she is demanding as compensation, else they would expose her medical records.

Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Hope Eghagha, was today kidnapped in a deadly attack near Asaba, the capital of his home state.
A source learnt that the kidnappers shot and killed Mr. Eghagha’s police orderly before speeding off with the commissioner.

According to sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We’re told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two.

The Rick Ross and Young Jeezy brawl almost marred an otherwise excellent night at the taping for BET Hip-Hop awards on Saturday.
Interestingly, while some were busy starting new feuds, others were putting the past behind them as arch-rivals 50 cent and Fat Joe shared the stage together with Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Q-Tip and Funkmaster Flex for a tribute to Chris Lighty who passed away last month.
To show that he meant business, 50 Cent commented afterwards on Twitter that he was even open to a collaboration.
On September 9, the head of former EastEnders actress, Gemma McCluskie was found dead in the Regent’s Canal near her home. Her 35 year old brother, Tony McCluskie has now accepted responsibility for killing her.
A judge said on Friday that Tony McCluskie will now face trial on the issue of whether her death was murder or manslaughter.
McCluskie, who lived in Peter Street, Hackney, east London, with his 29-year-old sister, was due to face trial next month, but the trial was on Friday moved to January 14 next year.
McCluskie, who appeared by videolink, was remanded in custody at The Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey).

Michael Owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie, is no new comer to the rap game especially in his native country, Ghana. Having won the BET ‘Best African Act’ award with Nigeria’s Wizkid in July 2012, the rapper has added another feather to his cap as he has been named in the 2012 edition of the acclaimed BET Awards.

Tragedy struck in Benue State on Saturday when 65 people, mostly women and children, died in a boat accident on the Agatu river.
The 65 passengers, according to the member representing Agatu Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Mr. Sule Audu, were travelling in an old engine boat, fleeing Agatu which was already submerged by flood.
The people, he said, were travelling to Lokoja to stay with their relatives after they were sacked from their houses by the flood.
A powerful explosion has occurred at an area close to the Guest House of the Emir of Zaria in Tukur-Tukur area of Zaria.
Eyewitnesses said a powerful explosion occurred in an area already cordoned off by security agents in the city.
Earlier, gunshots rang out in the area as an unidentified Islamic cleric house and nearby Mosque was raided by troops as a result of intelligence gathered by the Joint Task Force that a group linked with Islamist militant group Boko Haram was planning a major attack on churches early Sunday.
A nine-year-old boy was killed and three other children wounded when a hand grenade was thrown into a Sunday school session in a church in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, police and medical staff said.
Kenya has suffered a series of grenade attacks since it sent troops across the border into Somalia last October in pursuit of Islamist al Shabaab militants who it blamed for kidnapping its security personnel and Western tourists.
The attack on the church came days after Kenyan troops launched a surprise offensive on the southern Somali port of Kismayu, the last stronghold of the al Shabaab, forcing the rebels to flee, Reuters reports.
