A 13-year-old fatally shot his grandparents in their home because he was upset that they called his mother a whore and "were speaking poorly about her," state police said in charges filed Tuesday.
Zachary James Proper, of Oil City, was charged with criminal homicide for the weekend shootings of Dorothy and George Fross.
According to the criminal complaint by troopers in northwestern Pennsylvania, Proper's parents, Ryan and Karen Kapp, called Oil City police Monday night because they were concerned that their son had gotten drunk and high on Sunday night and had stolen a car belonging to his grandparents.
The Kapps called police because they could not reach the Frosses by phone and because Proper told them that "his friend had shot and killed his grandparents," the complaint said.

Shaakira’s step father broke up the fight but that was a little to late as she died almost immediately. May her Soul Rest In Peace, Amen.
A skeptical scientist who had spent his career studying the mechanics of the brain and dismissing patient tales of journeys to heavenly realms has revealed his extraordinary conversion after his own encounter with the afterlife during a near-death experience.
Dr Eben Alexander spent 15 years as an academic neurosurgeon at Harvard but he was struck with a nearly fatal bout of bacterial meningitis in 2008 and had no brain activity when he lay comatose for seven days at a Virginia hospital.
Though he was unconscious and unresponsive during that period, he is now describing a ‘hyper-vivid and completely coherent odyssey’ to a place beyond, filled with butterflies and resounding music that has shaken his scientific viewpoint on human consciousness.

Dr. Pascalina Onuoha, a youth corps member attached to the National War College, Abuja, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title by the Galadimawa community, Abuja, for donating a waste bin which would put an end to their practice of dumping wastes by the road.
Onuoha was given the title, Bazhim Gbagvinu 1 (woman commander) of Galadimawa by the District head, Alhaji Musa Barde, at a well-attended colourful ceremony.
Speaking about her donation, Onuoha said she was motivated by the living condition of the area; having observed the poor manner the residents disposed their waste.
