“I’m a grown woman I’m not young anymore, so definitely I have someone in my life that I love…that I love to death, i love him, i love him, he makes me happy, he makes me laugh. He’s making me blush, but I can’t talk about him, that’s all I can say”.
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, aka, Omosexy, needs no formal introduction but perhaps film maker, Obi Emelonye does – he is the award winning director/producer of the spectacular movie ‘Last Flight To Abuja.’ The movie first came to limelight when it reportedly grossed more than N8 million in its first week at the cinema.
The movie, which stars the likes of Hakeem Kae Kazeem, Jim Iyke, Jide Kosoko and others, is still showing at the cinema and has already raked in not less than N24 million, to break the record of ebbing the highest box office earner this year.
For Omosexy, this year has been one of her busiest moments in the industry. She has not only starred in quite a number of big-budget movies, she has equally taken her talent beyond the shores of this country. At the last count, she starred in Ties That Bind alongside Hollywood’s Kimberley Elise, Kofi Adjorlolo, Ama K, Khareemar Aguiar among others.
She was also in Tarila Thompson’s “Up Creek”, Teco Benson’s “Blood on the Lagoon” which is currently in post production and “Amina”, starring alongside British actor Wil Johnson and Vincent Regan.
To cap an eventful and rewarding year, Omosexy was recently awarded with the BEFFTA Film Icon for her contribution to the film industry in Africa, Europe and globally. She becomes the first ever African so honored.

The enclave of Ijora Badia in Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State is a constellation of absurdity.
It is indeed a melange of miscreants, roughnecks, gangsters, fraudsters and prostitutes. It is an enclave situated along the railway line that runs from Ijora to Iddo. The environment is filthy with euglena infested brackish lagoon, which harbours dangerous reptiles and breeds mosquitoes in millions. From Ijora bus-stop, a macadamized road that links the bus-stop with Ijora Badia railway line community gives a wrong impression of where it leads to.
On both sides of the link road are shops that display different wares ranging from electronic equipment to clothes, shoes, bags,

Angola is the world’s twenty-third largest country (after Niger). It has an estimated population of 13,338,541 (July 2011 est.) and its official language is Portuguese.
Celebrations to mark the independence are to be held on Thursday at the November 11 Stadium on the outskirts of Luanda, a 50 000-seat venue that symbolises the war-torn country’s rebirth and which hosted the opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
After independence in November 1975, Angola faced a devastating civil war which lasted several decades and claimed millions of lives and produced many refugees. Following negotiations held in Portugal, itself under severe social and political turmoil and uncertainty due to the April 1974 revolution, Angola’s three main guerrilla groups agreed to establish a transitional government in January 1975.
