The name of Chief Sylvester Debe Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the 56 years old lawyer reported to be Ojukwu’s first son but who has had running battles with other family members since the old man’s death on November 26, 2011, is conspicuously missing from the will. Recognised as Ojukwu’s children in the will are Chukwuemeka Jnr, Mmegha, Okigbo, Ebele, Chineme, Afam, Nwachukwu and one Tenny Haman, who was previously unheard of.
Commenting this morning on the will, Uche Ezechukwu, Ojukwu’s biographer and one-time media aide, said: “Ojukwu’s will has been read and it gave nothing to his sons and almost everything to his widow. Is that not strange?
|Late Ijeoma Umumadumere nee Ahamefule (January 2012)|
I have lost my sister! I have lost my sister, Ijeoma who was five months pregnant to the unprofessional conduct of a doctor and a quack policy of a clinic called “Garrison Clinic” situated at 10 Udom Street around Garrison roundabout in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria!
Since the heart breaking news of her death, sleep has deserted me as her thoughts and images have beclouded my brain and enveloped my eyes.
“God, you gave me legs and hands to walk, work and eat, and I use them and I have been unreservedly grateful. God, you gave me eyes, brain and mouth to see, think and talk, and it will be a crime against natural law and a sin against you if I do not use them. Therefore; why did you allow death to kill the innocent child that was in my sister’s stomach and still allow my sister to die such a humiliating and excruciating death?”
Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State, who was seriously injured when his plane crashed on October 25 in Yola, capital of Adamawa State, has suffered extensive brain damage and failed to recognize members of a presidential delegation that visited him at a hospital in Hanover, Germany, an authoritative source has told SaharaReporters.
A source close to a senior member of the delegation described the trip to see Mr. Suntai as highly secretive. SaharaReporters learnt that members of the delegation had officially traveled to Vatican City in Rome to witness the consecration of Archbishop John Onaiyekan as a Cardinal of the Catholic Church. After the ceremony in Italy, the delegation then made a quick detour to Germany to see the injured Mr. Suntai.
The relationship that bloomed during the Big Brother Africa StarGame reality show between Kenya's Prezzo and Nigeria's Goldie is turning out to be one of the most controversial relationships in the celebrities world.
Their fans cannot even tell whether the two are a thing or not since Goldie rubbished the claims that they were a couple on a Nigerian national radio.
As strange as it would turn out a few days down the line Prezzo and his queen Goldie were seen at a dowry exchange ceremony in Nigeria dressed in the same attire looking like husband and wife.
A Nigerian radio station later made the claims that the couple has even married secretly and are just hiding their relationship.
The much mumbo jumbo is definitely spinning the heads of many and there is even more to confuse fans. Apparently according to a radio station in Nigeria, Prezzo flew to Nigeria to propose to Goldie just a day after her departure from Kenya.
He made the official engagement to Goldie in front of her parents and they have set a wedding date for next year February 9. We hope the El Presidante comes out clean and declares his stand.
“If I keep waiting for an Igbo man, I will just end up like Genevieve Nnaji who is eternally single” -Tonto Dikeh
Interviewer: We just learnt that you will be getting married soon to your new boyfriend who happens to come from Benin, Edo state. Why are so many Nollywood female starts getting snapped up by Benin or men from Edo state?
Tonto Dike: First of all, it is nobody’s business where my fiance is from. That out of the way, yes Benin men are great and very understanding. They are not sitting and judging you unlike an Igbo man that will want to be poke-nosing in everything you do. You make your money and the Edo man is not interested in your personal affairs . “If I keep waiting for an Igbo man, I will just end up like Genevieve Nnaji who is eternally single.”
Tonto dike Debunked the statement above…
In a reaction to the alleged interview, which has spread like harmmatan fire, Tonto reacted this way, “I have never and will never say anything against Genevieve. I will not even interfere in her personal issues. I did not grant such interview.”
Her publicist also denied any such statement from Tonto dike. The publicist said, “after her interview with you (NFC) last year December, Tonto dike has only granted an interview with a soft-sell magazine, which was done about three months ago.
So, I don’t know where that purported interview came from or when such was granted.”

When you are in a foreign land, respect their idiosyncrasies and of course their law. How many Nigerians for instance know that you can go to jail for one month if you pucker up to your wife in a restaurant in Dubai? Yeah, that’s right.
So, imagine what will happen if you are caught pants down with a member of the opposite sex in a public place. You are asking for it.
A British woman and Irish man recently accused of engaging in intimate activities in a Dubai taxi have now been sent to jail for three months after which they will be deported.
Wonders, they say, shall not end. Imagine the tragedy that recently struck the household of former fringe defender of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Obinna Nnodim, who passed on in Owerri.
Jerry Uche, an ex-teammate to the former Julius Berger football club of Lagos stopper disclosed to newsmen that Nnodim gave up the ghost in a mysterious circumstance shortly after his wedding ceremony with his fiancée.
“Obinna was looking hale and hearty when I saw him few days before his death. He just returned from Thailand for his wedding. We all wined and dined together only to receive the sad news few days ago that he was dead. This is a big shock to me and the rest of us. I just want to believe that there is more to it than meets the eyes. His mother has been ill for so many years and to make matter worse he is the bread winner of the family’’,Uche lamented.
Until his death, Nnodim , 31, featured for Arugo FC of Owerri, Julius Berger, Dolphins and Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt. The high point of his career was when he helped Julius Berger to reach the final of the African Winners Cup now known as the Confederation Cup in 2003.
Meanwhile, Nnodim’s burial which had been initially slated for Thursday has been suspended indefinitely by the family to enable them get to the root of his untimely demise.
Rest In Peace Bro.

Michael Essien’s loan spell with Real Madrid has been provisionally terminated to allow the midfielder to return to Chelsea and receive treatment for an injury which has kept him out of action since November 11.
The Ghanaian is expected to respond better to rehabilitation with the west London club who have dealt with his complex injury problems in the past.
Real’s assistant manager, Aitor Karanka, has hinted that Essien’s failure to respond to treatment in Spain is the main reason for his return to Stamford Bridge.
“Essien is not injured but is suffering from an allergic reaction to a drug,” stated Karanka at a press conference.
The 29-year-old has struggled for sustainable fitness in recent years and only managed 14 appearances for Chelsea last season. However, the Liga side are optimistic that his latest problem can be quickly resolved and he can return to Madrid in the New Year.
President Goodluck Jonathan may have made up his mind to impose the reclusive former Minister of Works, Chief Tony Anenih, on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT).
Anenih, who was on Monday summoned by the House of Representatives over the sum of N2.3 billion that was purportedly disbursed for an abandoned road project in Nassarawa State in 2006, was at the Presidential Villa on Thursday morning where he had a closed-door meeting with the President.
